Pell City residents know how to do it right, and their highly anticipated Hometown Block Party is set for Saturday, June 1, from 3 to 9 p.m. It’s a great day of family-friendly fun, and you won’t want to miss it.
Free Fun for All Ages
The 2019 Pell City Hometown Block Party is a vibrant celebration of the spirit of this close-knit, fun-loving community, where you can bring the whole family out to enjoy some good times, good music, and good food – with no charge for admission! There will be more than 100 vendors on hand for your browsing and shopping enjoyment, plus a kids’ block with fun interactive games, inflatables, and rides for even the littlest Pell City residents. The hub of all the action is located at The Cog, Cogswell Avenue, Pell City, AL 35125.
Food vendors will be on site selling all your block party favorites including burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, funnel cakes, shave ice, and much more.
Musical Accompaniment
No party is complete without a mood-setting backdrop of great music, and this block party has that covered in a big way – with three stages featuring an eclectic array of musical performers spanning folk, country, gospel, classic rock, and more! Stage 1 is located on 19th Street and will see a lineup of JB & the Players, Sam Lewis, Susannah Seals, and Backroad South. On Stage 2, located in the jail parking lot, you can catch performances by Jamison Taylor School of Music and The Wingnuts. And on Stage 3, on 18th Street, you’ll see Christian Soldiers, Chozen, Shelby Grace, and Loretta Jones.
